I recently starting plowing through old proofsheets from my travels in 1995. I decided to re-visit these images along with some hand-drawn thoughts. This particular show documents a 2 day journey through a sugar cane factory and it's surroundings in rural india. The name of this city is long forgotten, but we were an overnight train away from madras, in the south west portion of the country.
